Elizabeth Douville

Dr. Elizabeth Douville was appointed Vice-President, Corporate Development at the Biologics Manufacturing Centre in April 2026, after being elected to its Board of Directors in December 2023.

A seasoned leader in the life sciences sector, she is recognized for her expertise in venture capital, biotechnology innovation, and partnership development. She last served as President and Chief Executive Officer of IRICoR, a drug discovery commercialization centre based at the Université de Montréal, and previously founded AmorChem, an early stage venture capital fund focused on translating academic research into biotechnology companies.

She holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa followed by postdoctoral fellowships in the United Kingdom. She also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, reflecting her commitment to excellence in corporate governance.
