Maryse Laliberté

Maryse Laliberté is the President of MLCaConseils Consulting, Inc., which she founded after more than 30 years of experience with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Maryse previously served as Vice-President & General Manager at Cambrex Mirabel (formerly Halo Pharmaceutical Canada, Inc.), where she managed all aspects of operations, including financial, development, technical, and quality activities. She also played a key role in due diligence processes related to site acquisitions and sales, collaborating with private equity firms. Prior to her role at Cambrex, Maryse worked in Merck’s Global Technology Organization (GTO), where she supported external partners in producing consumer care products and served as Technical Services Director for a plant expansion. Her experience also includes positions at Schering Plough Canada, where she held roles as Director of Production and Director of Canada’s Quality Unit. Over the course of her career, Maryse acquired in-depth experience working with regulatory agencies like EMEA, USFDA, JP, and Health Canada and leading various internal and external compliance audits.

Maryse holds a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Québec in Montreal and has co-authored scientific publications and patents.

Maryse Laliberté has served on Operational Committees and Boards of various organizations in the life sciences sector and was elected to the Biologics Manufacturing Centre Board of Directors in December 2023
